Reusable filter made from Ahlstrom-Munksjö nonwoven fabric for the inner pocket of Univormu face mask. The product withstands at least 10 washes. Filtration efficiency in VTT measurements was 88%. For comparison, healthcare masks must filter 95%. By combining the innovative nonwoven fabric with the Univormu face mask, very high protection is achieved, as Univormu fabric masks already have carefully selected materials and good fit to prevent virus spread. It’s possible that washing the filter doesn’t reduce particle penetration efficiency at all. However, post-wash penetration efficiency has not been tested by the manufacturer. If you know you need the highest possible protection – we recommend using a new, unwashed filter.

20 pcs pack price: €24.90. Unit price per filter is €1.25/pc. One filter has 10 uses, so one filter’s theoretical cost per use is €0.12. By using a reusable filter you reduce environmental impact and get good protection for yourself.

Use:

The fabric Univormu reusable mask has an inner pocket where you can add your own filter.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS: Wash the product after each use. Washing machine: Wash at 60-95° in a laundry bag or keep the filter inside the face mask in a laundry bag.
Without a washing machine: Boil in a pot in nearly boiling water for 5 minutes with a small amount of detergent. Rinse the nonwoven fabric afterwards in a bowl of clean water 2-3 times.

MATERIAL 100% polyester. Material filtration efficiency over 99%@3mic (According to French national standard. The French national standard has been the basis for the European civilian mask standard.)

The filter is a personal hygiene product and therefore cannot be exchanged or returned.

(Note: the filter has been removed from plastic only for illustration purposes, they are always delivered in plastic packaging for hygiene reasons.)
