Leather Headband
Beautiful knotted headband. Univormu’s luxurious headband is a unique luxury product. The leather is genuine reindeer leather. Headbands are available with both smooth leather surface, i.e. nappa surface, and suede surface. As leather, reindeer leather feels velvety. Reindeer leather is the most ecological of leathers and extremely durable. The reindeer leather used in the headbands is surplus leather from the meat industry, which comes from Finland, Sweden, and Norway.
The high-quality reindeer leather headband is handcrafted in Finland with respect for nature. Each headband is a unique piece. Leathers are also used that have been dyed in larger batches for a specific need by others but have been left over. These “surplus” leathers are utilized and small batches of headbands are made from them.

Size
- Leather headband width: approximately 5 cm at the widest point. Please note that the width may vary slightly in different batches due to leather thickness.
- Band length approx. 36 cm measured from inner curve
Material
- 100% reindeer suede and reindeer leather
- The reindeer leather used in the hair bands is surplus leather from the meat industry, sourced from Finland, Sweden, and Norway
Colors
- Available colors: available colors vary. Some colors are kept in stock longer, while others are made in small batches only. Colors left over from the leather industry are utilized and headbands are made from these. Some colors are unique and cannot be restocked.
Care Instructions
Reindeer leather has some dirt and water repellent treatment. Don’t touch the band with greasy or dirty hands as the leather can retain marks. Wipe stains carefully with a damp cloth. No water washing. Avoid contact with hairspray.

The color is a bit greener than in the picture, but just right for my dark brown hair.

Excellent fit, doesn’t press anywhere. For me it could have been a bit narrower, but it doesn’t matter. Lovely soft, black Mokka headband. The only small minus is that it was quite pricey. I support Finnish products and sometimes you get to/have to pay for it too.

Pitkän harkinnan ja valinnanvaikeuden jälkeen tilasin konjakinruskean solmupannan. Valinta osui nappiin, panta on aivan täydellinen! Laadukas ja viimeistelty panta, joka pysyy päässä eikä paina korvien taakse vaikka käyttäisi silmälaseja samalla. Konjakinruskea nahka ihan superkaunista ja pehmeää. Moitteita en keksi. Ensin pidin tuotetta hiukan kalliina, mutta en enää 🙂
