Reusable Face Mask Set

The set allows you to choose the color of the face mask and storage pouch!

The set includes

• adult reusable face mask
• elastic bands to convert the mask into an ear loop mask
• filter pack with 20 filters for the face mask
• sturdy storage pouch for masks that can be washed at 60°C.

The storage pouch comfortably fits approx. 5-6 masks. You can also store disposable masks and a plastic bag for dirty masks in the same pouch. Storage pouch size is 22.5 x 13 cm. Material 65% polyester, 35% cotton. Made from durable Univormu workwear fabric. Wash: 60°C.

Reusable face mask features:

1. Fit: Special attention has been paid to the design and fit of the face mask. The face mask is tight around the face, making its protection more effective.
2. Material: The outer fabric is dense microfiber and the inside material is dense cotton which also acts as protection. Not just any microfiber or cotton has been used. EXTREMELY DENSE fabrics have been specifically sought for the face mask. The microfiber is so dense it’s difficult to get even a pin through. Microfiber is easier to breathe through than cotton. The selected cotton is also extremely dense in terms of tightness.
3. Filter pocket: The face mask has a pocket where you can insert a filter. Univormu sells shaped filters made from Ahlstrom-Munksjö’s innovative filter fabric for inside the mask. These filters block 88% of viruses in VTT studies, the filter can be reused 10 times. By using Univormu’s filter you also get good protection for yourself.
4. Nose fit: A separate pocket is sewn at the nose where you can insert and reuse a bread bag clip. Of course other things work too, but with a bread bag clip you can make the mask tight around the nose. This also reduces fogging of glasses.
5. Elastic band: Medical elastic band is used that withstands 90°C washing without losing elasticity. The elastic band goes around the back of the head and doesn’t press on the ears. By adding a second, thinner elastic band, you can make ear loops that fit you, allowing the mask to be used as an ear loop mask.
6. Washing: All parts of this mask withstand 90°C washing.
7. Finnish origin: The face masks are designed and sewn in Finland. Except for the outer fabric, all other materials are sourced directly from Finland, supporting Finnish companies.
8. Craftsmanship: The face masks are very high-quality sewn and the result is a very carefully finished product.
9. Customization: Additionally, printing/embroidery can be done on the face mask

The ecological reusable face mask is made from two different dense fabrics with a pocket between them for a filter of your choice. The outer fabric is microfiber, the lining is dense cotton. Both fabrics are used for face masks by other manufacturers both in Finland and abroad. This face mask has, among other things, the French fabric recommendation, i.e., outer fabric microfiber, filter pocket in between, and dense cotton against the skin. Additionally, the face mask has been designed to be as fitted as possible. The nose fit can be shaped with wire/bread bag clip. The face mask withstands boiling/hot washing at 95°C. The mask does not protect against viruses, but can help a virus carrier from infecting others like other tight masks. This ecological rewashable and reusable fabric mask can also be used in service industries where disposable face masks have previously been used. By adding Univormu’s reusable filter to the face mask you get good additional protection for yourself too. By using Univormu’s ecological fabric mask and adding Univormu’s reusable filter to it, you burden nature less as you don’t have to use a disposable face mask/respirator in every situation.

Univormu’s mask can also be made into an ear loop mask. The set includes separate elastic bands for ear loops. The ear loops must be made to fit you. Note that the ear loops need to be quite small for the mask to be tight enough. However, initially make the ear loops about 1 cm too large as the first washes will shrink the elastic band. Too tight elastic band hurts behind the ears so the right measurement is important. Thread the elastic bands through the channels made for them on both sides of the mask. Tie the ends to fit you. You can leave adjustment room and put the elastic band pieces after the knot inside the channel with the knot so you can make the elastic band loops larger if needed if they shrink too much in washing.
