Varpu Leather Bag

Size

• The small leather bag is pouch-style, with a narrow base sewn into the bag that increases its volume. Measurements below:
• Bag height: approximately 16 cm at the widest point.
• Bag length approximately 26 cm
• Base depth: approximately 3.5 cm
• The leather strap length is adjustable. min. 68 cm-max. 128 cm. The strap is interchangeable with your own strap thanks to the lobster clasps.

Material

• 100% reindeer leather army, black, cognac and taupe
• 100% sheep leather violet and lion brown
• The reindeer leather used in the handbags is surplus leather from the meat industry, sourced from Finland, Sweden, and Norway.
• The leather is treated with leather care product and its surface is treated with a protective finish during manufacturing. Please note that signs of life always show on leather.
• The leather is soft and prone to scratching. Scratches that may come from nails will show on the leather.

Colors

• • Available colors: army green and black reindeer leather and lion brown and violet sheep leather.
  • The leathers utilize wonderful surplus leather from the meat industry.
  • The detachable sheep leather strap color is always black. The details color is always gold.

Customization

When ordering, you have the option to add black leather tassels to your order to customize your bag.

• The handbag leather is pre-treated and ready to use immediately
• If the bag’s leather dries out or gets scratched, it can be treated with leather conditioner. A good product for this is, for example, Saphir Universal Cream leather conditioner.
• When using leather conditioner, the bag may release some color during treatment. Let the bag dry thoroughly after treatment so it doesn’t stain. This is a completely normal reaction. Always check the product-specific instructions for leather treatment if you use a leather care product on the bag at some point.
