These headbands are made from surplus leather from Univormu’s wide headbands. These are individual pieces with varying available colors. Stitching is visible on the surface as the headbands are assembled from several different pieces.
Narrow headbands are made ONLY when there are surplus leather pieces. Availability of headbands therefore varies.
Leather Headband
The leather is genuine reindeer leather, which feels wonderfully soft. Reindeer leather is the most ecological of leathers and extremely durable. The reindeer leather used in the headbands is surplus leather from the meat industry, sourced from Finland, Sweden, and Norway.
The headband has a different base headband than Univormu’s other headbands. Inside is a flexible metal band. The headband length is slightly longer than other Univormu headbands and therefore extends further behind the ears.

NOTE! This headband model differs from other headband models, this band length is about 2 cm longer than other Univormu bands. Inside is a different headband base. This one doesn’t press either but is longer, which may matter e.g. with glasses or if you have a small head!

- Available colors: available colors vary. Narrow leather headbands are made only from surplus scraps left over from Univormu’s wide headbands. Colors and headband availability varies constantly.
Care Instructions
Reindeer leather has some dirt and water repellent treatment. Don’t touch the band with greasy or dirty hands as the leather can retain marks. Wipe stains carefully with a damp cloth. No water washing. Avoid contact with hairspray.
