Univormu’s simple smooth headband! The headband is 4.5 cm wide at its widest point. The headband is primarily made of reindeer leather. If any color is made of lambskin or deer leather, this is mentioned separately. The leather used in the headbands is surplus leather from the meat industry, sourced from Finland, Sweden, and Norway.

The smooth simple headband is perfect for those who feel that a knot on a headband is “too big an element”. The band is uniformly flat throughout. If your head is oval-shaped and very delicate, choose the Minuruttu headband which is slightly narrower in the middle than this smooth band.

This keeps hair off your face and is comfortable to wear all day. The headband is the same size as Univormu’s other headbands, meaning it’s slightly shorter and therefore doesn’t press behind the ears. The headband also works well for glasses wearers and doesn’t create congestion behind the ear.

A high-quality headband is an easy accessory that adds style to your look and saves many moments with your hair. The smooth headband widens moderately toward the center. The band has a beautifully lined interior. The ends of the headband are lined with the headband’s leather so the overall appearance is finished to the last detail.

Color shades are followed by codes warm (L), cool (K), neutral (N) to help with color temperature levels.

The “lion” color is made from sheepskin material, firmer leather compared to reindeer leather. This band is slightly “fuller”. Light beige and black deer are both also fuller bands made from deer leather.

Care Instructions

The leather has some dirt and water-repellent treatment. Don’t touch the band with greasy hands as the leather can retain marks from it. Wipe stains carefully with a damp cloth. No water washing. Avoid contact with hairspray. If the leather dries out, you can treat it with natural beeswax. Leather care product cannot be used on suede-surfaced headbands.

The headband stays well on the head (you should put dry shampoo in your hair if you have slippery hair like I do) and keeps hair in check, is pleasant to wear and best of all, also suits short hair. And is surely long-lasting, as it’s so easy to maintain.

Panta pysyy hyvin päässä (kannattaa hiuksiin laittaa vaikka kuivashampoota, jos on liukkaat hiukset niin kuin itselläni) ja pitää hiukset kurissa, on miellyttävä käyttää ja mikä parasta, sopii myös lyhyille hiuksille. Ja on varmasti pitkä-ikäinen, sillä se on niin helppo huoltaa.
